Wow very nice mouse great
This is my second purchase of this exact mouse, speaks for itself really solid, adjustable weight (have mine heaviest) and buttons are usefully for more than just mmos
The charging port is faulty to the point where it will disconnect for a split second whenever there is any amount of movement or resistence being made whilst in use. I've used every other charging cable that I have that work perfectly fine with my controllers and other hardware, but were not able to yield better results. Would not recommend, see other alternatives.
Wife got it for my birthday 3 years ago I think? I loved it so much I got a second one for work.
The software feels a little antiquated in visual design (hardcore 2005 vibes) but the mouse itself is an A+ compared to anything else on the market.
Pros:
+ I've got medium hands and I don't keep my middle finger on the wheel. There's a pinky rest for me, so that I'm not dragging my finger across the mouse pad...mostly. The tip of my pinky still drags across the mousepad unnecessarily. If they extended this and put one button there, they could have a modifier button to give an alternate 12+1 button loadout. Pushing the modifier with the left side of my pink tip would make it easier to press the button combo.
+ Same as other Redragon mice but unlike the competitors, the second left click button is *perfect* as an escape key or a back key or something similar. I would *love* to have a second one of these left click buttons though. Just move this one up a few mm and place a second one..
+ The thumb rest flat area is wide as hell. Perfect for my medium size hand to keep my thumb from dragging across the mousepad.
+ The double angled 12 buttons are a perfect fit for where the bones in your thumb are. You have to learn a degree of trust that you can hit 7 8 and 9 by leaning forward with that bone, but it works. "Enter" on 11, "Space" on 5, "del" on 9, "f" for fullscreen on 2, "ctrl" on 4, and your mouse can do most things in most settings without issue. Great daily driver setup.
+ The loadout is saved to the mouse itself, not stored on the software. Take the mouse with you and your keybinds come with you to any computer you plug it into. For IT purposes and people, this is fan-fucking-tastic.
- The software is a little hard to understand the difference between profiles and modes. There's a mode button on the bottom, but I haven't used it personally.
> It would be great if they could include the click-to-spin-freely that some other mice have, but maybe that's behind a patent wall..
